Pebble Interior Surfaces: The Advantages

In custom-built swimming pool designs, pebble interior surfaces are still prevalent. A pebble plaster finish is the best choice for your pool if you want a tranquil oasis in your backyard with less maintenance.
A pebble will last longer than a pool plaster but is more costly than regular plaster. Because it is non-porous, the surface doesn’t absorb chemicals and resists algae growth. On the other hand, the typical pool plaster requires more maintenance because it has a shorter life span and is porous, making it a magnet for algae and stains.

Pebble in interior Surfaces What is it?

Pebble interior surfaces are made of a mix of hydraulic cement, polished stone pebbles, or glass.

The Process:

  1. Mixing involves mixing cement, water, and pigment to make the material. After you have applied the concrete, it is called blending.
  2. Pneumatic spray – The combination is then pumped through the hose. A pneumatic spray is used to ensure even coverage.
  3. Hand trowel – Installers use their hands to compact the pebble-tec after spraying. To protect the final item, technicians wear spiked shoes.
  4. Exposure Next, use a water sprayer to remove excess cement. This helps expose the glass beads or pebbles.
  5. Detailing The pressure washer with acid solution removes any residue or film left on the pebble finish after it has hardened. It may be necessary to give the finish a light buff depending on the finish.
  6. Installation: Once the installation is complete, fill your pool with water. Refer to your pool care instructions and balance the chemicals before you start swimming.

Choosing colors and textures

There are many colors to choose from, including black, white, and everything in between. The homeowner may be confused when selecting a color, as some colors can be modern and cool while others are bright and summery. The designer will help you choose the right color and the finishing touches that will add elegance to your new oasis. The texture can also make a difference. You should know that smaller pebbles work best; they are easier to slip on and more resistant to staining.

Pebble interior surfaces can be incorporated into any overall design scheme. Pebble interior surfaces can be integrated into any home's design and create a natural oasis in your backyard.

Less Maintenance

A pebble interior surface will save you time and money. Pebble interior surfaces are stain- resistant, non-slip, and porous. To avoid calcium buildup, check your pool water's chemical balance at least twice weekly. The total compensation should be between 7.4 – 7.5. It can cause scale buildup, and, in many cases, draining the pool may be necessary.
